Microsoft will be releasing 2 “out of band” updates today at 10 AM. It’s unusual for MS to release these updates ahead of the scheduled “Patch Tuesday” (2nd Tuesday of the month).
One patch is for Internet Explorer (they haven’t said what versions) and the other is for Visual Studio. While these “out of band” releases are usually in reaction to known current exploitations of security holes, MS maintains that there are no know active exploits.
You are strongly urged to install these updates ASAP.
