How many Intel CPUs will fail the XP Mode test in Windows 7?

This one is a bit technical, but important if you plan to run Windows 7.

A significant feature of Windows 7 that you will be hearing about is called XP Mode. This will allow you to run any XP program that may have compatibility running under native Windows 7. Basically, it creates a virtual machine that will run the program under XP while making it look as though it is a "normal" application. Assuming it works as advertised, it will eliminate problems like those experienced with Vista where numerous programs would not run without an update or new version.

In an article by Ed Bott on his ZDNet blog, he reveals the fact that this feature won't work on every Intel CPU, including several ones currently being installed on PCs. Here are some of the Intel CPUs that will not support XP Mode. If you order a new PC, be sure to not include one pf them.
