Cannot Open Office 2003 Documents Protected with RMS?

MS announced that there was a problem, starting on December 11, with opening an Office 2003 document if it was protected by Remote Management Services (RMS). You will get a message “Unexpected error occurred. Please try again later or contact your system administrator”.

Well, yesterday they announced hot fixes. Not bad…. If you encounter the problem, apply the hot fix.

Remember, you should not apply any hot fixes unless you are experiencing the problem described. They are not as fully tested and could potentially cause other problem…
