HP recalls 70,000 notebook batteries because of fire hazard

Looks like another battery recall. This one is for HP Notebooks. HP advises that if your battery is affected, you should remove it and run on AC.

The web site tells you everything you need or you can call (800) 889-2031 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. CT Monday through Friday.

There have been 2 reported instances of the overheating causing a fire.
