Preventing Memory Stick Worms

Ran into this today. One problem with memory sticks (a.k.a "thumb drives") is that they can be infected with viruses and malware that compromises your computer just by plugging it into the USB port.

A guy names Nick Brown has written a blog posting that very nicely describes a relatively simple registry change that will stop this in its track. The down side is that it disables the feature that automatically starts a program when you insert a memory stick or CD.
