Huge External Hard Drive for <$100

A good backup strategy requires that the backup is not on the same drive as the one you are backing up. Think about it... You back up your drive and you have a hardware failure. What do you do??

There are advantages to an external hard drive. In addition to being independent of the main hard drive, it is portable. You can disconnect it from the computer and move it to another in a couple of minutes.

The prices have been plunging for quite a while. This deal is an example of how low it can get.

You most likely have an 80 GB, 160 GB or 300 GB hard drive in your computer. A 1 TB (Tera Byte) drive has 1,024 GB of space, or as much as 100X the average hard drive, and for less than $100!!
